Professional Bodies

International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals (ICMCP) - The International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals (ICMCP) was created as non-profit association dedicated to the academic and professional success of minority cybersecurity students and professionals.  Their mission is to achieve the consistent representation of women and minorities in the cybersecurity industry through programs designed to foster recruitment, inclusion and retention – one person at a time.  The ICMCP tackles the ‘great cyber divide’ with scholarship opportunities, diverse workforce development, innovative outreach, and mentoring programs.

LGBT+ Pride in Foreign Affairs Agencies (GLIFAA) - LGBTQ+ Pride in Foreign Affairs Agencies (GLIFAA) - The US focused GLIFAA is a orgasniation that works to secure fair treatment of LGBTQ+ colleagues in the United States and overseas.  For Foreign Service, Civil Service, contract or other employees, we act to break down barriers resulting from prejudice, misunderstanding or apathy within our institutions.  We provide a support network and information resources for employees and retirees and their families.  As foreign policy professionals, we support LGBTQ+ people struggling against discrimination and persecution abroad.  We also engage with partner organizations in the U.S. and internationally to advance all these goals.

Out in National Security (ONS) Out in National Security (ONS) is a group of national security professionals leveraging our professional networks and individual passion to expand opportunity for current and future colleagues. Merging activism and education, ONS speaks fearlessly in defense of LGBTQIA+ rights, connects like-minded national security practitioners, advances American interests, and improves American security. Defined by principles rather than party, ONS welcomes those with any, or no, political affiliation.

Stonewall - Stonewall lets all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, in the UK and abroad, know that they're not alone. We believe we're stronger united, so we partner with organisations that help us create real change for the better. We have laid deep foundations across Britain - in some of our greatest institutions - so our communities can continue to find ways to flourish, and individuals can reach their full potential. Victory Institute - The Victory Institute is dedicated to elevating openly LGBTQ leaders who can further equality at all levels of government. Through our training and professional development programs, each year Victory Institute assists hundreds of individuals who go on to influential careers in politics, government, business and advocacy.  Many of our trainees join the more than 1,000 openly LGBTQ elected and appointed officials now serving around the world.

Monster Recruitment – The recruitment giant has a specific page dedicated to listing the Best companies for LGBTQ+ workers. It has a specific defence and security section.

Out and Equal Work Place Advocates – Out and Equal’s LGBTQ+ career link offers tools and resources focused on LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. Membership is free for LGBTQ+ job seekers and competitive subscription packages are available for employers of all sizes.

Proud Employers - Proud Employers is the only job site which caters exclusively for LGBTQ+ people and their allies.
